Edible herbs, list and information: we provide you with a list of the most common edible herbs that grow spontaneously in Italy. There are many wild herbs that we can bring to the kitchen, from the classic wild fennel to stellaria, here are many useful tips.
It is not acomplete list of edible herbs of Italybut a dense list of the most common spontaneous plants in our area that can be used in the kitchen for different recipes.
Amaranth
L'amaranthit is an edible herb that now grows spontaneously throughout the Italian territory. It appears with the increase in temperature, in late spring. Thecascelloreit is formed by a rosette given by leaves, stems departing from the rosette ending with yellow flowers. The flowers consist of four petals and are typical of the Cruciferous family.
